What is facturium?

Updated 2026-08-18

facturium is a free invoice generator you run in a web browser tab. There is no account, no server upload, and no watermark — you fill in a form, watch a live preview, and download a one-page PDF invoice.

What it does

  • Builds a clean, one-page PDF invoice from your business details, a client, line items, tax, and an optional discount.
  • Saves drafts, sent invoices, and clients locally so you can reopen, duplicate, or mark them sent/paid later.
  • Ships in six interface languages (English, Spanish, French, German, Russian, Arabic), each with its own number and date formatting.
  • Works offline once the page has loaded — there is nothing to sync.

Your data stays in your browser

Everything you type — business profile, clients, line items, saved invoices — is written to this browser's IndexedDB storage, a database built into the browser itself. facturium has no server that receives your invoice content; there is nothing to upload and nothing for us to see. Closing the tab does not delete anything, but switching to a different browser or device starts from empty, since nothing is synced anywhere. The library holds up to 200 saved invoices and 100 clients (50 MiB total) on this device; you can export everything to a single backup file from Settings and import it back later, including on another device. See the full breakdown in our privacy page.

What it's not

facturium is not accounting or bookkeeping software — it doesn't track payments received, generate reports, or file anything with a tax authority. It's also not a tax or legal advisor: it computes totals from the numbers you enter, but what belongs on your invoice for your situation is a question for a professional, not this tool. See what's generally on an invoice for a plain-language, non-legal overview.
